Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy on Thursday came to the rescue of five accident victims by assigning one of his escort vehicles to transport the injured to the hospital.
Mr. Narayanasamy, who was returning from Bahour after wishing V. Dhanavelou on his birthday, spotted the accident at Nonankuppam. Five women were injured after the share auto in which they were travelling overturned. The Chief Minister asked the driver to stop the car and took the victims in one of his escort vehicles to the Government General Hospital. After shifting the patients, he returned to Puducherry with one escort vehicle.
