STRICTLY COME DANCE stars Gemma Atkinson and boyfriend Gorka Marquez work up a sweat at the gym as they discuss training together as a couple.
Former Emmerdale star Gemma Atkinson and Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Marquez opened up about their relationship.
The couple spoke candidly about the importance of working out together and how it has helped them bond.
Gemma, 33, explained how training with Gorka, 27, keeps her “motivated” and stressed that the pair encourage one another.
She said: “I love that Gorka is into his training as much as me. He keeps me going and helps keep me motivated.

"We do the same stuff in the gym, but Gorka obviously lifts a lot heavier than me! We push each other in the gym – but he definitely pushes me more.”
The actress went on to tell Ultimate Performance: “We do train together quite often. We go to the gym together but sometimes he goes and does his stuff and I do my stuff.”
During the interview, Gorka gushed over his girlfriend’s commitment to the gym and their shared interest in staying fit.
He said: “It’s great having someone to train with and someone who loves doing what I do in the gym. In the past, I’ve had girlfriends who never wanted to train.

“But Gemma loves it and she likes to eat healthy too. She takes good care of herself.
“When you have someone who has the same interests as you and who you can share stuff with, it’s nice. Gemma trains hard! She is a machine!”
In a video uploaded online, Gemma and Gorka can be seen pushing themselves to the limit during a gruelling workout session.
At one point a tiresome looking Gorka is filmed face down on a horizontal machine with his head on a towel.

The ballroom dancer seemed exhausted, confirming this Gemma teased: “I’ve not seen him sweat like that for a long time in the gym.”
Gemma and Gorka met on the last series of the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing and confirmed their romance on Valentine’s Day.
Since then they have been virtually inseparable, with both regularly posting pictures of each other on social media.
Last week, Gorka shared a loved up picture of Gemma resting on his chest. The Spaniard captioned the adorable photo: “Shall we watch a movie Gorka? Yeah ok then.... 20 mins later @glouiseatkinson 4am starts are tough!”
