Micron Technology Inc. MU, -3.52% shares fell in the extended session Thursday after the chipmaker topped Wall Street estimates following a weeks-long run-up on the stock. Micron shares declined 3.2% after hours, following a decline of 3.4% to close at $58.97 in the regular session. Shares have rallied 43% year to date. The company reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $3.31 billion, or $2.67 a share, compared with $894 million, or 77 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted earnings were $2.82 a share. Revenue rose to $7.35 billion from $4.65 billion in the year-ago period. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated $2.71 a share on revenue of $7.25 billion.
