Married man, woman found hanging from tree

A married man and an unmarried woman were found hanging from a tree in a cashew garden near Gudilova under Anandapuram police station limits.

Though the couple are suspected to have committed suicide a few days back, it came to light on Wednesday when the locals found the partly decomposed bodies and alerted the police.

The deceased were identified as Y. Ramanaji alias Haribabu (32) and B Revathi (28), residents of Kovvuru area under Rolugunta mandal .

The police found a motorcycle and four mobiles phones at the spot, but they did not find any suicide note.

The police said that according to preliminary investigation, the deceased were known to each other were allegedly in a relationship since long.

Their parents did not accept their relationship and proposal for marriage.

Ramanaji and Revathi had gone missing from their homes from March 17 and a missing case was registered in Narsipatnam police station on March 19. Police registered a case.
