Union Minister Jitendra Singh today inaugurated a three-day International Yoga Fest in New Delhi. The fest being organised by Ministry of Ayush is the curtain raiser for this year's International Yoga Day which will be celebrated on 21st June.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, Yoga has immense power to inspire people of foreign countries to learn this ancient Indian practice and the cultural heritage of the country. As many countries are moving towards Yoga practices, he expressed confidence that yoga will be quite instrumental in binding the whole world in times to come. The Minister urged the youth to actively promote Yoga across the globe.

Addressing the event, Ayush Minister Shripad Naik also reiterated the need of Yoga in the modern time. He said, his Ministry is dedicated and taking all measures to develop and promote Yoga nationwide.
