Bank clerk tries to end life, blames seniors

Rajkot: A bank clerk attempted suicide by consuming poison at the Mahuva branch of Bank of Baroda on Wednesday. Police identified the victim as Suresh Vyas (52), a resident of Jagannath Park in Subhashnagar area of Bhavnagar.

“Vyas went to the bank as per his routine and wrote a suicide note before attempting suicide,” an official from Mahuva police station said.


In his suicide note Vyas accused his superiors and colleagues in the bank including a woman staffer of causing him mental harassment and threatening to frame him in a false case of molestation.tnn
