Police are involved in a standoff right now at an east Tulsa motel with a armed man wanted on felony warrants out of Nebraska. 

The location is the Rest Inn in the 7400 block of East Admiral Place.

Police say it all began at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday as officers were looking for the man.  At about 11:30 p.m. they found his truck parked at the Rest Inn.

They say the man walked out of his room, asked police what they were doing and then went back inside the room and locked the door.

Police say the man has told them repeatedly over the phone that he has a pistol and a shotgun and doesn't want to go back to jail.

Meanwhile, officers have evacuated some of the motel's rooms as a precaution. They also say there might be a woman in his room as well.  

The name of the man has not been released.
