When it comes to the super-rich, New York City is a millionaire’s playground.????The Big Apple is the best city in the world for the world’s wealthiest people, according to a new report by London-based real estate firm Knight Frank.????The top cities were ranked on factors like wealth, investment, lifestyle, future and overall desirability.????New York swept the board in every category.????For the overall score, London followed New York City and came in second, San Francisco ranked third, Los Angeles came in fourth place, while Chicago rounded out the top five.????North America dominated the list, with 10 of the top 20 cities, according to CNBC.????Back to New York.????A top real estate executive told the New York Post it makes sense the city is on top in every category because it’s a world financial mecca, the fashion is on point, there’s a great mix of different food, and it’s packed with endless entertainment.????New York also had the highest number of households – over 1.1 million – earning more than $250,000 a year.????Some might say that’s not exactly “wealthy” for New York, but those with all of that money in the bank probably aren’t taking the subway, either.
