KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari has said that adding more aircraft to the fleet and reforming the management at Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) are necessary to strengthen the legacy of the national flag carrier.

During an inspection at NAC on Tuesday, Minister Adhikari also urged officials of NAC to equally focus on internal policies, social services and competitive financial policies to take NAC to a newer height.

Adhikari also stressed on the need to produce more pilots in the country itself as the entire globe has been currently facing crunch of pilots. Meanwhile, Sugat Ratna Kansakar, MD of NAC, said unavailability of ample number of aircraft with NAC has been hindering growth of NAC.
