Groundnut oil prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on subdued demand from retailers against adequate stocks position.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said easing demand from retailers against adequate stocks position, mainly attributed the slide in groundnut oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil shed Rs 100 to Rs 8,400 per quintal.
