Ronnie O’Sullivan STUNS fans with shot of the tournament at Players Championship snooker
RONNIE O’SULLIVAN stunned onlookers after playing the shot of the tournament at the Players Championship on Wednesday.
Tournament favourite O’Sullivan was 2-1 down against Ding Junhui when he sunk a long red early in the fourth frame.
The five-time world champion drew the applause from amazed fans in Llandudno when rolling a red into the far right pocket.
What was so incredible about the shot was the confidence O’Sullivan had to leave the cue ball on a number of reds, potentially handing Ding the chance to sweep up.
World Snooker themselves were evidently pretty pleased with the effort.
