The worst is over for Delaware. As the nor'easter moves out of the area, Thursday's forecast has snow tapering off to flurries in the early morning, meteorologists said.

The National Weather Service said the band of the storm is still on the coast, near Bethany Beach, and snowfall throughout Wednesday night into Thursday will be worse there than the rest of the state.

But all of Delaware should have clear skies by sunrise Thursday.

"Thursday should be dry for Delaware, with nothing but a bit of wind," meteorologist Chad Shafer said.

Wind gusts will stay between 20 mph and 30 mph throughout Thursday as the storm passes through on its final day, Shafer said.

The state of emergency and Level 1 driving restriction ends at midnight Thursday, the Governor's Office announced.
