4 of family die as tractor hits bike in Dausa

JAIPUR: Four of a family, including two children, was killed after a bike in which they were travelling was hit by speeding tractor carrying sand in Dausa on Wednesday evening.
Lalsot SHO Rajendra Singh told TOI that incident took place at around 8.30 pm when a 32-year-old man travelling on his bike was hit by the tractor.

“The father was travelling with his children when a tractor hit them near Lalsot road. They were rushed to the hospital where they were declared dead on arrival,” the police said.


The Lalsot police were making efforts to identify the victims. The bodies were taken to the mortuary of the hospital. The driver of the tractor suspected to have fled from the spot while the tractor was seized. The cops said that the tractor was carrying gravel sand.


The police said that the villagers informed them about the accident following which the parties were sent to the spot where they found profusely bleeding children writing in pain.


“The tractor hit into their bike and run them over. The police said they are investigating the case,” the official said.
