Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta said on Tuesday that the Address of Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal in the House on March 16 was very disappointing and lifeless. “Lack of coordination between the Legislative wing and executive wing was reflected in the proposals,” said Gupta.
The LoP said the government failed to present vision of future, adding , “Neither the outcome budget of 2017-18 nor green budget of 2018-19 was anywhere insight. Its sole aim was to cover government's misrule, irregularities and failures. The Infrastructure development or concrete projects are missing,” said Gupta.
He further said that the important matters of public interest were pushed under the carpet.
“There was no word on the Government's strategy to find permanent solution to sealing. The infighting with bureaucracy found no mention and no word of unauthorized continuation of Kailash Gahlot as Minister despite cancellation of his MLAship,” he added. “It is unfortunate, the AAP government has confirmed its commitment to doorstep delivery of ration item despite criticism,” he added.
