WeWork to launch a scholarship for low-income developers

While many companies are constantly searching for new talent, getting training for software engineer work is very expensive.

WeWork, now the owner of one of New York's premiere coding schools, wants to help low-income students.

The New York-based co-working space provider is teaming up with 2U Inc. to make coding classes more affordable by offering scholarships to 20 students enrolled in its Access Labs Initiative, reducing their tuition payment by half.
