Roads and Buildings Minister Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu has accused BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of not following coalition dharma and targeting TDP and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Instead of supporting a rising leader and a State that suffered due to bifurcation, they were trying to suppress the leader and the State, he said at Narsipatnam on Monday.
He said it had not happened all of a sudden and for the last six months maintaining a distance from TDP had begun. They were afraid that Mr. Chandrababu Naidu would play a crucial role in politics at the Centre once again.
Mr. Patrudu said with the Telugu people not supporting BJP, it would lose 40 seats in Karnataka Assembly elections and defeat was staring in its face.
