This week's Chicago Fire is going to rock the firehouse. The special two-hour event will see the firefighters face one of their most dangerous calls yet, and not everyone will walk away unscathed.

In an exclusive preview of the major episode, Firehouse 51 responds to what was supposed to be a regular house fire. However, things go sideways when someone opens fire and both Kidd and Otis are hit. With this week's Fire expected to be a crucial turning point for the show, we could end up losing one of our beloved firefighters.

"I think one of the things that has set our show apart over five seasons is that we're not afraid to have some of our shocking events actually pan out," Derek Haas told TV Guide.

The back-to-back episodes will also see some familiar faces drop by including Chicago P.D's Antonio (Jon Seda) and Burgess (Marina Squerciati) along with Will (Nick Gehlfuss), April (Yaya DaCosta) and Ethan (Brian Tee) from Chicago Med.

See how it all goes down when Chicago Fire's two-hour event kicks off Thursday at 9/8c on NBC.
