Jaipur: Ambulance employees on Tuesday protested outside the company office situated in Jhalana to demand for salary hike, increasing overtime for more than eight hours, medical facilities and 15 other things.

The ambulance drivers stopped their vehicles at a particular point one by one. Virender Singh, president of the Rajasthan Emergency Employees’ Integration Union said that, “Due to the ignorance of GVK-EMRI Company, employees are facing financial hardships along with depression.”

Expelled employees have also taken decision to disrupt ambulance services in Jaipur. On Monday, patients did not face any difficulty. The case was filed against Virender Shekhawat in Gandhinagar on Monday.

Due to the protest, ambulance services remain stopped outside Jhalana office. The strike also included Base Ambulance 104. In Jaipur, there are 51 108 Ambulances and 22 104 Base Ambulances.
