Sugar prices end quiet on small demand

Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today as prices after moving around the overnight closing on little alternate bouts of buying and selling, ended same at last levels.

Marketmen said in the absence of significant buying support, prices generally moved in narrow groove before settling at previous levels.

Sugar - Rs 34.00-36.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,320-3,480, S-30 Rs 3,310-3,470.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,080-3,220, S-30 Rs 3,070-3,210.
