Eczema treatment before and after: Child cured dry skin condition with £3.99 moisturiser

ECZEMA cream may help to relieve, or even cure, symptoms of the dry skin condition. This moisturiser treatment reduced signs of the condition in a baby after suffering from symptoms of eczema.

Eczema is a condition that causes skin to become dry, cracked, red and itchy, according to the NHS.

The condition is more common in young children, but may also develop in adults.

Some treatments - including emollients and corticosteroids - can help to relieve the symptoms of eczema.

This child’s eczema symptoms were significantly eased after using Good Bubble Little Softy Moisturiser with Prickly Pear Extract, it’s been claimed.

The moisturising cream, designed for children, helped to relieve the child’s eczema condition, Good Bubble said.

He had tried other ointments for a few months, but didn’t have any positive results until trying the moisturiser.

It took just five days for symptoms to reside, the company claimed.

“Our new Little Softy Moisturiser Prickly Pear Extract from our New Gruffalo range has been proven to ease the symptoms of severe eczema,” it added.

Eczema cream: Treatment moisturiser could reduce symptoms of the dry skin condition

Eczema is more common in young children. It usually develops before their first birthday, according to the NHS.

It’s a long-term condition, but could improve significantly - or even totally clear - as children get older.

The condition usually goes through periods when symptoms are less noticeable, or when they’re more pronounced.

“See your GP if you have symptoms of atopic eczema,” said the NHS. “They'll usually be able to diagnose atopic eczema by looking at your skin.”

Symptoms of eczema vary from person to person.

Some people only have small patches of dry skin, while others may have widespread inflamed skin.

“Although atopic eczema can affect any part of the body, it most often affects the hands, insides of the elbows, backs of the knees and the face and scalp in children,” the NHS added.

“Typically, to be diagnosed with atopic eczema you should have had an itchy skin condition in the last 12 months.”
