Mysuru civic body not to relocate stray dogs, plans birth control scheme

MYSURU: The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) will not relocate any stray dogs in the city. It has decided to implement Animal Birth Control (ABC) scheme instead.

All the rules and regulations related to the ABC will be strictly followed at the time of implementation.


It was earlier reported that the stray dogs will be relocated after the ABC.


Officials of the MCC have made it clear that the corporation will strictly adhere to all the rules and regulations related to the animal welfare and there is no truth in the reports that the stray dogs will be relocated after ABC.
