The 29-year-old was making banana loaf cake, which was topped with banana halves and decorated with a white and milk chocolate drizzle.
Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith smiled and asked: “Tell us about your loaf cake.”
Jamie replied: “So today, I’m making a delicious banana loaf cake.

“My mum used to make it for me as a kid and she would kind of let me lick the bowl.
“It’s kind of this nostalgic thing, so going back to my childhood.”
He then shocked Prue by adding: “I’d never touched flour until Sunday when I tried it for the first time.”
Prue could not believe Jamie and gasped: “And you come from a baking family?”

Laughing through his embarrassment, Jamie chuckled: “I know! I know!”
Prue then snapped: “This is disgraceful!” as Jamie added: “So I’m a little bit freaking out right now.”
Viewers instantly took to social media following his baking revelation.
