Nissan, Datsun cars to cost more from April 1

2% price hike across model is forced by rising input cost.

CHENNAI: Nissan India has decided to hike prices across its Nissan and Datsun models.

The price increase will come into effect from April 1.

Prices of Nissan and of Datsun vehicles will increase by up to 2% across all the available models.

Nissan currently offers the Micra, Sunny and the Terrano. Datsun offers the Datsun GO, GO+ and redi-GO to Indian customers.

According to Jerome Saigot, managing director Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., the price increase is necessitated by the rising input cost. ``We are confident that our cars will continue to offer excellent value and choice to our customers,” he added
