Qatar Coach Felix Sanchez Calls Up 21 Players Ahead of Basra Friendly

Qatar coach Felix Sanchez named a 21-member squad for the International Friendly Championship, to be held in Basra from March 22 to 27.
Hosts Iraq and Syria are the other teams in the tournament that comes against the backdrop of a three-week break in the QNB Stars League of which Week 21 games were played on Saturday, 17th March.
Qatar will leave Doha on Tuesday after winding up their training at Aspire. The squad includes many promising players who were part of the third place-winning team at the Asian Under-23 Championship in China in January this year.
The tournament is the first to take place after the recent lifting of the ban on the Iraq football federation holding matches in three Iraqi cities including Basra.
Qatari team will meet Syria in the second game of the tournament on Thursday.
The players are, Saad Al Dossari, Yousuf Hassan, Mohamed Bakri, Pedro Miguel, Asim Madbo, Akram Afif, Hassan Al Haydous, Salim Al Hajri, Mohammed Alaaeldin, Tarek Salman, Ahmed Alaa, Abdulaziz Hatem, Ahmed Fathi, Bassam Al Rawi, Almoez Ali, Muad Hassan, Ahmed Moen, Karim Boudiaf, Ismail Mohammed, Abdulkarim Hassan and Sultan Breik.
