Iowa City house fire under investigation

IOWA CITY — A Sunday night residential fire in Iowa City is under investigation.

According to an Iowa City Fire Department news release, crews responded to a fire at 2160 Davis St. at 7:52 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters said smoke and fire were coming from the residence. Authorities confirmed all of the occupants were out of the home and adjacent home before putting the fire out within 30 minutes of arriving on the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
