Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and Kajol make Karan Johar’s mother Hiroo’s birthday bash a starry affair

Karan Johar is closest to his mother. The ace director did everything possible to make his mother, Hiroo Johar, feel special on her 75th birthday, which the two celebrated on March 18. The actor invited his close friends from the industry including Sidharth Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. In fact, in many videos going viral on the internet, we see Hiroo enjoying every bit of her birthday.

While there were many special guests, the two who managed to grab attention were Karan's twins - Yash and Roohi. The kids, in one of the videos from the bash, can be seen having a good time in the arms of their grand mother.

Of course, if it is Karan Johar, there will be ample selfies. The filmmaker posted many pictures but the one that stole the show is his picture with Kajol. Since almost two years, the two were at a cold war with each other but things went quite normal this year. And if you do not believe us, this picture is proof.

In another, we see Rani Mukerji posing with Karan. Rani and Karan have been close friends since a long time. Their relationship goes back to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Sidharth Malhotra was also seen capturing a selfie moment with Hiroo Johar.

The celebrations were made more fabulous with Sonu Nigam’s soulful music as he sang songs like “Har Ghadi Badal Rahi Hai Roop Zindagi”, “Lag Ja Gale” and “Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh” through the soiree.

Amongst others who attended Hiroo Johar's special day were Shabana Azmi with Javed Akhtar who sang songs, veteran actress Waheeda Rehman, Shobha Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan who returned with mom Jaya and daughter Navya Naveli and Karan's bestie Manish Malhotra.
