Married man booked for sexual assault in Gandhi Nagar

Gandhi Nagar police have booked a 32-year-old married man of Abbas Nagar on the charge of sexually exploiting a 24-year-old separated woman; a case was registered on Saturday.

The accused Sabu Khan of Abbas Nagar sexually exploited the victim on the pretext of marriage, but later refused to marry her.

The victim in her complaint stated that she got separated from her husband and used to live alone in Abbas Nagar where she came into contact with the Sabu Khan who lured her of marriage and sexually assaulted her but later refused to marriage her. The police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started further investigation.

Meanwhile, Piplani police have booked a 27-year-old man for sexually assaulting and exploiting a 22-year-old man girl for the past two years on the pretext of marrying her.

The victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Shaikh Azhar who used to work with the victim at a private firm in MP Nagar, said police.

In her complaint victim stated that she used to work with Azhar at a Jio store where she developed relationship with the accused. The accused took her to a hotel in Piplani area and lured her of marriage and sexually assaulted her. Later when she asked for marriage Azhar refused and threatened her of dire consequences.

Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 376 and 506 of the IPC and have started search for the accused.

Victim claimed that she was sexually exploited her at several places. The victim braved and lodged complaint with Mahila police station and later case was transferred to Piplani police station.
