Sandra L. Idzojtic Formerly of Conway Sandra L. Idzojtic, 75, formerly of Conway, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on November 23, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Russell Graham and Doris Slaugenhaupt. Sandra attended Ambridge and Freedom schools. After high school she went into the medical field and received a certification in Phlebotomy. Sandra worked as a caregiver and also mentored children at CASA. She loved to crochet blankets which were gifted to numerous family members and friends. Sandra is remembered as a giving person and as a great cook. While living in Oklahoma, she became active in the Red Hat Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Katherine Drummond, with whom she was particularly close to. She was also preceded by her husband, Louis Idzojtic; a daughter, Deborah Mitchell; and a son, Vernon "Buddy" Bernard, Jr. Sandra leaves a daughter, Lori Lyons and her husband, Brian, of Wichita, Kansas; a son, Jesse Bernard of Freedom; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlene (Ron) Muhar of Center Township, and Ginny (Donald) Parmele of Glendale, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724) 728-4000, followed by a funeral service on Wednesday, March 21, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ron Cepek of the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver officiating.
