Pieces Of Hate Quest Walkthrough: Guide To Every Step Of The Latest Pirate Quest
The following steps have been collected and compiled from a variety of sources around the web. Links to each source have been included. The walkthrough will be updated on an ongoing basis as more of the puzzle is unraveled.
Pieces of Hate Quest Part 1: Get Sent To Rock Island Prison
- Try to enter your Player Owned House portal
- Postie Pete will appear. Talk to him and he’ll give you a letter from Bill Teach
- After you get the letter, go to Rimmington and leave your stuff in the customs office locker
- Talk to the Customs Sergeant and confess to any crime. This will get you sent to Rock Island Prison.
Pieces of Hate Quest Part 2: Escape Rock Island Prison
- At Rock Island Prison, you’ll find Bill Teach jailed in the cell next to you. Talk to him.
- After talking to Teach, talk to Two-Eyed Eric and ask him for a hand. He'll give you a spare hook.
- Use the hook on the bed to tear off some cloth. Combine cloth and hook to attach the two.
- Go outside. Use cloth-hook at the fishing spot. Get a fish and a sharp hook. Use the fish on the perch rock to summon a seagull.
- Use the fish on the door to attract seagulls. The seagulls will distract the guards. Pick the lock with the hook.
- Push the black stone barrels by the door to block the guards.
- Investigate the pile of crates and take the smallest one.
- Set Bill Teach free (you will lose the hook while doing so).
- Search the desk and locker to get a cheese sandwich, pineapple, wooden spoon, and customs uniform. Put the uniform on.
- Use the spoon on the crate to make a trap. Use the sandwich as bait.
- Place the trap by the mouse hole in Bill Teach's cell.
- Reassure and Comfort Wilson the Rat, then ask if he has something to help (Options 3,4,2,4). He will give you the keys. Unlock the door.
- Talk to Madame Shih. She’ll tell you one ward requires voice activation to open the stairway door.
- Talk to Jimmy the parrot pirate and he’ll open the door/
- Read the poster next to the stairs then go up. You’ll be stopped by a Crassian guard.
- Search the lockers to find a pineapple and some 'rum'. Use the pineapple on the puddle in the corner, then use it on Wilson the Rat.
- Use the pineapple and Wilson the Rat on the door. This will distract the guard.
- Search the bed for the keys to the door. If this doesn’t work, go back down and read the poster again to get the keys to the door.
- Use the Rum on the pod (egg sack) and set it on fire.
- Go upstairs to watch the cut-scene, then go back down.
- Speak to anybody then run to the docks and dive off.
- To flee the Island, speak to anybody, then accept the option to sail to Mos Le'Harmless.
Pieces of Hate Quest Part 3: Mos Le'Harmless Pub & Zombie Head Quest
Use the chair in the northeast corner of the small bar. Then, go into the basement.
After a conversation, speak with the zombie head. Choose the "kind interrogation" option. Agree to the zombie head’s requests.
Grab two pieces of leather, gold bar, and the drinks listed in the required items. You can find the leather and gold bars in a sawmill crate. The drinks can be premade. Recipes from them are listed below:
To find the Zombie head a friend, speak to Gertrude and then to her children.
Go to the sawmill and search the westernmost jiggling crate to find Wilson the Rat again.
Craft a collar for Wilson.
The spot where the Zombie head says to watch the sunset is southwest of the Karamja lodestone, northwest of the general store.
Pieces of Hate Quest Part 4: Mos Le'Harmless Pub Boss Fight
- Go back to the basement of Mos Le'Harmless pub and speak with the Zombie head.
- Prepare for the fight by bringing as much food as you can. You’ll also need an Ectophial.
- You will take a lot of damage during the fight. (You will probably need to use about 20 Beltfish). The fight will be very similar to the mechanics in the Shadows of Ashdale fight. It uses nearly identical mechanics, though the boss attacks are stronger but less frequent.
- During the Boss fight, when it shields itself from attacks, move away or you’ll suffer massive damage. The boss will do this twice and the second time it will be particularly deadly because it will use its attack in rapid succession.
- When the boss is near death, it will use a rapid series of its special attack. You will need to keep moving to avoid massive damage. Shadows will appear before acid rains down on you.
- The boss will occasionally summon Crassian scouts that will attack you. The have a lot of health but low offensive capability so it is best to ignore and outheal them
- DO NOT DIE - In this fight death is not safe and if it happens your gravestone will appear by the docks at Mos Le'Harmless.
- After the fight, you must perform some tasks around Mos Le'Harmless which is being invaded by Rabid Jack's zombie army. The bank will still open if you need more food.
