Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reveals how he spends his Arsenal days off

The Gabon international joined the Gunners in January after forcing a move away from Borussia Dortmund.

Aubameyang hasn't enjoyed the best of starts in north London, with the club enduring a rough patch of form since the beginning of 2018.

Arsenal are beginning to find their feet again, and the attacker has been amongst the goals in his last two games.

But the 28-year-old enjoys himself when given some downtime by Arsene Wenger.

“I’m a pretty straightforward guy,” he told Arsenal's official website.

“I enjoy being at home and of course I also like driving - I love cars.

“But other than that I enjoy spending time with my family.

“My ideal day off? I'd go to Spain, maybe go to the sea.

"I'd enjoy some free time with my children and my wife.

"Just that, really.”

Arsenal have been struggling in the Premier League in recent weeks.

But success against AC Milan in the Europa League has eased the pressure on Wenger.

However, Aubameyang cannot feature in the competition after playing for Dortmund in the Champions League this term.

Speaking recently, the forward said: “When I was in Dortmund, I was playing every three days but now I play once a week or have a long time between games.

"It is not easy but that’s life.

"I have to deal with it.”
