Buoyed by the growing demand for the flybus service operating between Kempegowda International Airport Ltd. (KIAL) and Mysuru, the KSRTC will introduce one more bus from March 22, taking the total number on the route to seven.
According to a release from KSRTC, the new flybus will have two trips daily. The bus will depart from KIAL at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. and reach Mysuru at noon and 10 p.m. respectively.
The bus will depart from Mysuru at 1 p.m. and 11 p.m.and reach KIAL at 5 p.m.and 3 a.m.
Booking of tickets
Tickets van be booked online on the KSRTC website or at the bus-stand. Advance booking can be done at the reservation counters of KSRTC. The fare for the journey is ₹800.
Meanwhile, KSRTC officials in Bengaluru said the introduction of an additional bus will bring down the waiting period for commuters.
The KSRTC launched the flybus service in August 2014 with one bus. More than four lakh passengers have travelled by it so far, officials said.
