Lake Helen library plans adult crafts

Florida Women's Art Association
The Florida Women's Art Association will meet 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Stonewood, 100 S. Atlantic Blvd., Ormond Beach. Voluntary prekindergarten program
The School District of Volusia County will provide a free Voluntary Prekindergarten Program this summer for families of incoming kindergartners who have not taken advantage of the state’s free Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program. Registration takes place at the student’s home zoned school during early registration between the hours 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20; Thursday, March 22; and Tuesday April 10. The following sites may be selected during registration: Champion (Daytona Beach), Discovery (Deltona), George Marks (DeLand), Read-Pattillo (New Smyrna Beach) and Turie T. Small (Daytona Beach) elementary schools.
To participate, a child must be:
5 years-old on or before September 1, 2018;
a resident of Volusia County; and
