Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp has found Emre Can replacement but one club may ruin transfer
LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants Anderlecht star Leander Dendoncker to replace Emre Can - but faces a fight to sign him amid interest from West Ham.
Liverpool are bracing themselves for Can’s departure with Real Madrid and Juventus determined to lure the Germany international away from Anfield.
The 24-year-old has been in fine fettle for the Reds this season but a contract renewal is unlikely to be penned.
There is a growing feeling Can’s future lies away from Merseyside and, as a result, Liverpool are mulling over potential replacements.
And Transfermarketweb say Jurgen Klopp’s side are now in the mix for Anderlecht star Dendoncker.
The 22-year-old’s stock is high after a terrific season in the Belgian Pro League.

The player has previously been linked with Manchester United with Jose Mourinho supposedly a fan.
However, Dendoncker nearly ended up at West Ham back in the winter transfer window.
Ultimately, though, the Hammers were unable to get a deal over the line.
And Transfermarketweb say their failure to do so could be Liverpool’s gain.

Speaking last year, Anderlecht president Roger Vanden Stock confirmed Dendoncker could go - for the right price.
“I’ve only opposed myself to a transfer once,” he said.
“That was Aruna Dindane, and that didn’t end well.
“So, if a club really wants Leander and that it’s financially good for us, he’ll leave.”
