The recent shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School has sparked a new round of calls to curtail access to guns. Anyone who believes limiting magazine size or access to semi-automatic rifles are necessary should call his or her state and federal representatives and tell them so. Anyone who believes limiting or banning so-called "assault rifles" and large magazines should not be limited should call his or her state and federal representatives and tell them so. We need to remember that millions of our fellow citizens own and use guns safely and responsibly every day. Targeting certain semi-automatic rifles and certain size magazines is an arbitrary solution to a very complicated problem. We need to let our representatives know how we feel, either way.
