Pamela J. Smith, 69, a lifelong resident of Sewickley, unexpectedly passed on March 12, 2018. Born November 11, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Wesley E. Sr. and Myrtle B. Smith. She leaves behind her close and loving brother, Wesley "Wes" Smith Jr.; a nephew, Erik (Yvonne) Smith; a great niece, Erika (Bryan) Platt; a great nephew, Jordan Smith; six cousins, and close friends, Mary Carolyn "M.C." Nash and Judy Haluka. Pam retired after a long career with Glaxo/Smith Kline as an administrative secretary and was very active in the Sewickley United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the NASCAR Foundation and a regular volunteer at the Masonic Village. Pam was an avid reader and enjoyed many other hobbies, especially collecting rabbit figurines, ornaments, etc. Pam was a gregarious person and she always spoke highly of the innumerable people she had met through her life. Services are private. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Sewickley United Methodist Church.
