The district police of Bokaro on Saturday sealed the Rose Valley non-banking financial company’s office situated at Chas following the complaint of depositors.
On the directions of Satish Chandra Circle Officer Chas, a team of Herla police and district administrative officials led by Statistics Officer BN Choudhary conducted a raid in the office of Rose Valley which was closed for last three years.
Several incriminating documents along with computers were seized from the office, informed Choudhary. “As the office was locked since past long, we have to break the lock first in the presence of police and others then we seized several documents,” he added.
Earlier in 2013, several non-banking financial companies operating in Dhanbad and Bokaro district were sealed in raids. “As those companies were not following the norms and guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) including the State Government, so those were sealed and FIR has been lodged in the concern police stations,” informed an official.
The companies which got sealed include ERIL, OK India, Bhavish Developers, Rose Valley, Weried Infrastructure Corporation Limited, Wave Infra Projects, Sparkling Vigil Alide Infrastructure, Sky Gold India Limited, Shine India Infrastructures, Sankalp Groups, Comwave Beverages and others, said the official.
