POKHARA: Kalika Battalion ‘A’ of Nepal Armed Police Force won the title of the second Abhiyan Men’s Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.

Kalika defeated Pokhara Volleyball Training Centre 25-17, 26-24, 25-19. Top two teams earned Rs 50,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively. Kalika Battalion’s Kul Bahadur Karki was named the best player, while his teammates Krishna Chaudhary, Madan Gurung and Nur Bahadur Rana were declared the best server, defender and lifter respectively.

Pokhara’s Rependra Nepali and Sunil Ghamal were named the best spiker and blocker respectively. — HNS
