Liverpool are in a very healthy position compared to their European rivals, judging by their players’ recent increases in transfer value.
Four of Jurgen Klopp’s stars make it into the top 25 footballers with the biggest transfer value increase over the last six months, according to a new study.
CIES Football Observatory have analysed every player across the top five European Leagues, highlighting the stars who are becoming more expensive by the day due to on-field performances.
Only footballers who did not change team or extend their contracts are included in the rankings, meaning Barcelona and Real Madrid are only represented by one player each.
On the other hand, both La Liga giants also have players on the list of stars who have decreased in value since September due to injuries and lack of playing time.
