Lukaku continued his rich vein of form by scoring in the 2-0 FA Cup win against Brighton yesterday.
The forward took his goals tally to 25 for the season. Despite the forward’s brilliant return, Manchester United still trail Manchester City by 16 points.
But Lukaku thinks that will change next term as “a lot of good players” will sign in the summer.
The Belgian revealed he and boss Jose Mourinho are excited about the plans to apparently reshape the squad and challenge for more trophies.
I know that a lot of players, a lot of good players, will come in next summer
“We are Manchester United, we have to improve every year and I know that a lot of players, a lot of good players, will come in next summer,” he said.
“That’s for sure.
“That is something I look forward to.
“In order to improve the squad, and what the manager also looks forward to because next year we have to win.
