NEW DELHI: A seven-year-old boy - who went missing from his house in outer Delhi's Nangloi on Saturday morning - was reunited with his family after a few hours. He had gone missing after his mother scolded him for breaking the TV remote.

He was roaming on the streets when one cop noticed him near Nangloi metro station and helped reunite him with his family. The cop made a PCR call and a team was sent to help him find the boy's family. Police officers held him by the hand and walked with him around the streets to locate his house. Cops also took his picture and circulated it on WhatsApp groups. They also made announcements at various temples and gurdwaras.

DCP (Metro) Pankaj Singh said that the team involved in reuniting the boy with his family will be rewarded.
