LAWTON, Okla. – The Midwestern State Mustangs split Saturday's doubleheader at McMahon Field, but it was enough to clinch a series win against Lone Star Conference rival Cameron.

The Mustangs, who won Friday's first game 3-2, won Game 2, 3-1, before dropping the third game, 8-0.

Riley Adams got the win in the circle for MSU, allowing just one unearned run on eight hits and four walks. MSU was down 1-0 heading into the sixth inning when they put together a three-run rally. Amanda Thomas had a two-RBI single for the key hit in the inning.

Rylee Willmon kept the Mustangs off-balance in Game 3, holding them to three hits while earning the shutout victory.
