Man Utd news: Emmanuel Petit blasts ‘sulking’ Paul Pogba over Jose Mourinho feud

Pogba has failed to live up to his reputation ever since returning to Manchester United for £89million.

The midfielder has struggled for form and last month was dropped from the team on a number of occasions.

United have struggled in the middle of the park and Petit has warned his fellow Frenchman that he needs to buck up his ideas to help his side challenge Manchester City next year.

And that would mean ending his feud with the manager for the benefit of the club.

"Paul, I'll give him a little bit of advice - change attitude a bit," Petit told French radio station RMC.

"He should stop making it a Mourinho-Pogba duel, because the club of Manchester United is much more important than those two guys.

"Right now, he's making it personal and you can clearly see that on the pitch as he is sending out a lot of negative signals.

"It gets tiresome when you're sulking permanently."

Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months such as his unrest at Old Trafford.

However, Mourinho labelled the reports as “lies” why he was asked.

Barcelona have also been mentioned as a potential destination if he was to leave United.
