“I have terminated the job of Andrew McCabe straight away,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions stated.

Sessions affirmed that verdict to sack McCabe was taken after the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility checked the report and decided that the deputy director should be fired.

McCabe stated his removal from workplace is part of the Trump management’s “conflict” on the FBI.

“I am being singled out and treated this way because of the role I played, the actions I took, and the events I witnessed in the aftermath of the firing of James Comey,” McCabe stated.

The Journal account was published two days following then-FBI director James Comey declared in a note to Congress that the bureau was renewing its probe into Clinton’s utilization of a private email server.

“The FBI believes every employee to stick on to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and accountability,” the attorney general added.

McCabe became a regular Trump aim as the President alleged political unfairness in the top positions of the FBI and Justice Department.
