Neymar transfer bombshell: Spanish site makes bizarre claim about Real Madrid and Man Utd

NEYMAR is set to snub Manchester United and join Real Madrid because of his indoor football tournament, according to bizarre reports in Spain.

Neymar quit Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain last summer when Parc des Princes chiefs activated his £200m release clause.

And he’s enjoyed an impressive start to life in France, scoring 28 goals and providing 16 assists in his first 30 games for the club.

Neymar’s time at PSG has been surrounded by speculation he is unhappy though and that has led to claims he could join Real.

The latest reports from Spain have now suggested a peculiar reason as to why the 26-year-old would head to Real over United.

According to Don Balon, Neymar has realised he has little hope of achieving his dreams at PSG.

And he’s been weighing up his choices ahead of a potential move during the summer transfer window.

Neymar is said to have decided Real are his best option, amid United’s keenness to get him on-board.

And that’s because he feels his indoor football tournament has the best chance of being a success in Spain.

Neymar moved to Paris Saint-Germain to escape Lionel Messi's shadow and to win the Ballon d'Or

‘Neymar Jr's Five’ currently has 14,000 teams competing in it in a total of 62 countries.

And Neymar apparently believes England and France are not ideal markets for it grow in.

Don Balon indicate Neymar could have potentially chosen to rejoin Barcelona from PSG.

However, the fact he’d have to share the spotlight with Lionel Messi is not to his liking.
