‘Call Of Duty: WWII’ Leprechaun 2XP & Shipment 1944 Map Live for All
Call Of Duty: WWII players can enjoy lots of new content this weekend including the free Shipment 1944 map and double XP rewards for playing the Leprechaun Moshpit playlist. Shipment 1944 was first revealed alongside the game’s 1.11 update, and the double-XP date was previously published in the Shamrock & Awe event schedule. The changes first went live Friday afternoon.
For those who missed the announcement earlier this week, Shipment 1944 is a remake of the original Modern Warfare’s Shipment map. Its crate-filled design is very much the same, but this time the shipment has arrived on the beaches of Normandy in 1944. To add a little Irish flair for the game’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration, green grass lines the remodeled landscape.

True to its original form, Shipment 1944 is a fan-favorite designed for all kinds of Call Of Duty: WWII players. Thin lanes facilitate SMG skirmishes, but tall boxes and concealed ground sightlines also provide plenty of cover for snipers. If you don’t get to play the map this weekend, don’t worry about it. Shipment 1944 will continue to be a regular part of WWII even after Shamrock & Awe ends April 3.
Double XP, like always, means double rewards from gameplay. This time, however, it applies to the new Leprechaun Moshpit Playlist. Available modes include TDM, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed and Dom with an added twist: kill the Zombie Leprechaun scampering across the map to instantly unlock equipped Scorestreaks. These matches are extra hectic, but at least the XP is worth the challenge.
Speaking of Domination and Scorestreaks, we now know the Dom XL playlist will finally debut on March 23. As its name implies, the playlist offers 100 points per Domination kill instead of 50. In other words, it should be much easier to unlock Scorestreaks over the course of a match. For those who prefer the current Domination model, a standard Domination playlist will remain available.
Call Of Duty: WWII is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The double-XP festivities run through March 19 at 1 p.m. EDT.
