Premier League table: Standings since halfway point of season revealed – Man City not top

PREMIER LEAGUE teams would be in very different situations if the season started at the halfway point.

The Premier League season is a marathon, not a sprint. If you end up at the very top of the pack in May, you've definitely earned the right to be there.

But since the mid-point of the season, Manchester City have not been the top form team in the league.

If the campaign had started after 19 games, Pep Guardiola's men would have to settle for second as things stand, with one team marching ahead of them in the form guide.

Newcastle and Swansea would be away from danger and challenging for Europe, while Arsenal would have been sucked into a mid-table scrap.

Take a look through the gallery to reveal the Premier League table since the halfway mark of the season.
