Motorcyclist and pedestrian injured in Għaxaq accident
Two people were injured on Saturday in a traffic accident in Għaxaq.
The police said the accident happened in Dawret Ħal Għaxaq at 5.35pm.
A 74-year-old man, who was riding a Yamaha, hit a 57-year-old woman who was crossing the road. Both are from Għaxaq.
The motorcyclist was grievously injured while the woman’s condition is not yet known.
Both were taken to hospital by ambulance.
