Aditi Ashok carded even par 72 to slip from overnight T-17 to T-39 after the second round of the LPGA Founders Cup here.
At two-under 142 with rounds of 70-72, she is now seven shots behind the leader, Cydney Clanton (68-67).
Aditi opened with a bogey but quickly made up with three birdies in next six holes. She was two-under through 11, before a bogey on 12th and then a closing one on 18th saw her fall back to even par.
Meanwhile, Cydney Clanton holed out for eagle on the 13th hole and then made birdie on 18th to close in sole possession of the 36-hole lead at nine-under 135. It's the first time she has ever held the 36-hole lead at an LPGA event.
Behind Clanton, there's a logjam highlighted by Ariya Juanugarn, who turned in a second straight 68 to share second at 8-under 136.
Marina Alex, who shared the low round of the day at 66, is also at eight-under along with Karine Icher and Mariajo Uribe.
