Man Utd player ratings against Brighton: Nemanja Matic stars – but who failed to impress?

MANCHESTER UNITED secured their place in the FA Cup semi-finals with a simple victory over Brighton.

Nemanja Matic provided the killer blow for Manchester United in their 2-0 victory over Brighton in the FA Cup quarter-finals at Old Trafford.

The Serbian midfielder headed home United's second goal of the game after Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring in the first half.

United's attacking forces were not at the races during a stale encounter between the teams, though Jose Mourinho will be pleased that his side got the job done.

Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata failed to impress though Matic and Sergio Romero stepped up to perform well in the icy conditions.
