Joseph A. Placidi Aliquippa Joseph A. Placidi, 56, of Aliquippa, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford, surrounded by his loving family. Born February 23, 1962, in Rochester, he was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Sandra (Nutz) Placidi. Joe was a journeyman master plumber who operated his own business, J.A. Placidi Plumbing, for over 30 years. A 1980 graduate of Western Beaver High School, he was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, Midland Sportsman's Club and Monaca S.O.I. Surviving are his beloved wife of 33 years, Paula (Sonsini) Placidi; a son, Joseph Placidi III; a daughter and son-in-law, Jena and Charles Adams; three amazing grandchildren, Ethan, Ava and Austin; two sisters, Debra Slater and Cynthia Placidi; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gennaro and Maria Sonsini; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rocco and Domenica Sonsini; nieces and nephews, Gerry (Monika), Danny, Loraina, Dante, Michael, Christopher, Cassandra and Kenzie, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, www.tatalovichfuneralhome.com, where a service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, with Father Paul Householder officiating. Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Hopewell Twp. Joe was a generous and kindhearted man. His memory will live eternally in the hearts of all who loved him.
